Welcome to Dope by Clean Alibi, (henceforth "Dope") a party game designed to be fun, simple, and private.
We built Dope to give players a great game experience without advertising, tracking, or data collection.
By using Dope, you agree to these Terms of Use and our Privacy Policy, explained below in clear and friendly language.

1. Using Dope (Terms of Use)
Who can use Dope
Dope is intended for general audiences and is suitable for players of all ages.

How the game works
Dope is played locally on your device. Players may enter names or nicknames so the game can show whose turn it is.
You agree to:

Use the app for lawful purposes

Enter only names or text you are comfortable sharing with other players in the same room
You are responsible for any content you choose to enter into the app during gameplay.
2. What Information Dope Uses (Privacy Policy)
Player-entered names
Players may enter names (for example, “Sam” or “Player 2”) during gameplay.

Are entered voluntarily by users

Are used only to display turns and results during the game

Stay only on the user’s device

Are automatically removed when the game session ends
Dope does not require real names. Nicknames or placeholders are always acceptable.

All gameplay happens entirely on your device.

5. Legal Basis (UK Users)
Under UK GDPR, the limited use of player-entered names is based on:

Because no data is stored or transmitted, no ongoing processing occurs.

Dope is designed to be safe for younger players.

No information leaves the device

Parents and guardians can feel confident that Dope avoids the data practices common in many other apps.

Dope is available in the United Kingdom and the United States.

The Dope app, including its design, text, graphics, sounds, and software, is owned by Alex Mankowitz Ben-Yehuda / Clean Alibi and is protected by applicable copyright and intellectual property laws.

Dope may include words, phrases, or references that relate to real-world brands, products, media, or cultural topics.

Do not suggest that any trademark owner is connected with or approves of Dope
